The 2016 song If I were sorry by Frans contains a handful of lyrics that match the gameplay of Ori and the Blind Forest ("climb the highest mountain", "walk into the fire", etc.). That alone could apply to a slew of other games, but what sealed the deal for me is that — with a bit of imagination — "If I were sorry" sounds like "If I was Ori".

I cut together the relevant parts of If I were sorry and overlaid them with matching footage from Ori and the Blind Forest, as well as lyrics in the style of the in-game text, to make a video where Frans dreams of being a video game character.
