A Very Modest Number Trick

A video about math that I made for the 2023 Summer of Math Exposition. It presents a simple number trick, and three different proofs of it, intended to be accessible even to people who don't care about mathematics. Unlike many other "general audience" proofs, it doesn't require any concepts like irrationality or prime numbers — it uses only subtraction and multiplication, and only natural numbers below 100.

This is the first video for which I recorded my own voice and made all the visuals from scratch.
